NC-Polaris
NC-Polaris Base Package
NC-Polaris is a totally integrated knowledge
based CNC programming package inside AutoCAD 12 orgreater. CNC programming
is done inside of your AutoCAD drawing. The NC Polaris base packageis delivered
with knowledge based cutting cycles for profiling applications which include
flame cutters,plasma cutters, routers lasers, 2 1/2 axis wireEDM, waterjet
cutters and 2 to 2-1/2 axis positioners.
NC-Polaris is delivered with a fully customized
look-up table (Post processor) for the machine control of your choice along
with generic look up table that can be looked up by the user.
Additional look up tables. (Post processors)
Additional post processors are available from
our large data base and can be custom written
at a reasonable price and delivery time. Generic
look up tables supplied with NC-Polaris facilitates
easy creation of post processors for the experienced
user.
Mill Extension
Features include tool tables, turrets, exotic
tool changers, Work co-ordinates, 4th & 5th axis
positioning, pocketing, multi-level machining,
canned cycles support, automatic hole operations, sorting routines and
more. Tool path can be created vertually on any AutoCAD entity including
2-D drawings, surface meshes, extruded ACIS models and multiple NURBS surfaces
from Autosurf and Designer. (XZ-YZ Ball end
mill only)
Expert NURBS cutter extension.
The Expert NURBS Cutter is designed for mould and die shops that require
advanced multiple surface machining capabilities, supporting BALL, BULL
and flat milling cutters. Cuts NURBS surfaces produced by Autosurf, Designer,
AMD or imported IGES files from other CAD systems.
Features include vertical and horizontal roughing with ramping, selective
plunge points, XZ.YZ,XY
tool path for finishing, constant scallop height, surface and string
containment, XZ,YZ,XY rest
cutting intersect cutting, cross cutting and more.
NC-Polaris Base Package and Mill extensions are required for expert
NURBS extension.
Lathe Extension
The 2 axis Lathe Extension supports bar feed/pull and dual chuck operations.
features include
collision avoidance, tool tables, facing, roughing, back cutting, finishing,
grooving, threading, drilling
and parting.
Punch Extension
Features include nibbling lines and arcs, point
to point output for line-at-angle, arcs, bolt hole patterns, grid
patterns, nothing, corner knock outs, shake-a-parts, shear proofing, auto
indexing, repositioning, tool tables, sorting
routines, punch emulation as well as full support of machine specific canned
cycles, macros and pattern recall (G75, G76,
G98 or equivalent)
Nest Extension
The nest Extension provides for automatic optimization
of multiple dissimilar shapes on stock sheet.
Considers part rotation constraints, bridge width
and sheet size. places parts inside of parts.
Includes sort routines to optimize cutting time.
all results are displayed in AutoCAD.
Tape to Part Extension (NSEE)
Features include the ability to read NC code and provide a solid rendering
of the actual part, dynamic tool motion, part rotation and zoom, cross
section cutting and inspection module.
4 Axis WireEDM Extension
The 4 axis WireEDM Extension provide knowledge cycles to facilitate
the tooling process of
independent X,Y,U,V programming for 4-axis wireEDM applications
